With seven to nine Twój Blues Vocalist of the Year awards and an international career that has taken her to France, Germany and the USA, Magda Piskorczyk is regarded as one of the foremost female voices in Polish blues, and projects such as the American Folk Blues Project have shown younger Polish musicians how traditional American blues can be interpreted with a genuinely personal voice (Source: pl.wikipedia.org; magdapiskorczyk.net).
