Manu Lanvin & The Devil Blues
Paris-born blues-rock power trio led by guitarist-singer Emmanuel "Manu" Lanvin, son of actor Gérard Lanvin, forged through a formative collaboration with Texan bluesman Calvin Russell.
Musical Influence
Manu Lanvin & The Devil Blues represent the raw, power-trio wing of French blues-rock — a stripped-down, road-hardened sound built on hundreds of live shows rather than studio polish, that has earned respect from figures as varied as Johnny Hallyday and Quincy Jones (Source: en.wikipedia.org).
