The band has made a mark internationally with repeated chart placements: three times at number one on the UK blues charts (2018, 2020 and 2023) and number one on the US blues/rock charts in 2020, with a number three finish in 2023 (Source: official website). The BluesBones won the Belgian Blues Challenge in 2016 and took second place in the European Blues Challenge the following year, in 2017 (Source: official website; Discogs). The band was later named Band of the Year at the Belgian Blues Awards in 2024, a title their own channels state they also won in 2026 (Source: official website). At the band's core are vocalist Nico De Cock, guitarist Stef Paglia and Edwin Risbourg on Hammond organ and Rhodes piano, with Geert Boeckx on bass; the lineup has since seen some changes on guitar and drums (Source: Discogs, "Chasing Shadows," 2018; official website).
