The Zac Schulze Gang formed in Gillingham, in south-east England's Medway area, in 2020, built around frontman Zac Schulze (guitar, vocals), his brother Ben Schulze (drums, vocals) and bassist Anthony "Ant" Greenwell (Source: zacschulzegang.rocks; noblepr.co.uk). The trio discovered Rory Gallagher together during the pandemic, and that shared discovery shaped a sound that blends rock and blues with punk, funk, country, jazz, soul, metal and pop influences (Source: noblepr.co.uk).\n\nSince forming, the gang have built their name through relentless touring — more than 250 shows a year across the UK and Europe — and were invited to play Eric Clapton's Crossroads Guitar Festival in Los Angeles in 2023, followed by an appearance at Fairport's Cropredy Convention in 2024 (Source: noblepr.co.uk). Their releases include "Made of Three" (2023) and the live album "Live and Loud" (2024), followed by their debut studio album "Straight To It" (2025) (Source: bluesrockreview.com).\n\nThe band won the UK Blues Emerging Band of the Year award in 2024 and the Young Artist of the Year award in 2025 (Source: noblepr.co.uk).

Musical Influence

A pandemic-era discovery of Rory Gallagher turned into one of the UK's hardest-touring young blues-rock acts, and an invitation to Eric Clapton's own Crossroads Guitar Festival signals a level of recognition from the genre's elder statesmen that few emerging British bands achieve this early in a career.
